To help students quickly understand how the lessons work, I have designed trial lesson to get you on board.
- Trial lessons are offered by teacher at a discounted price
- Each new user can have 1 Trial lesson.
Booking lessons on leoyangdiary is very flexible. You can choose to pay per single lesson or package !
You can directly book a lesson/package through “1-on-1″page !
Lesson Packages are a convenient and cost-effective way to book your lessons. When you purchase a package of 10 lessons, you’ll receive a 15% discount. These packages make it easier to manage your lessons on the “My Bookings” page, where you can reschedule or cancel lessons up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time.
So, in summary:
- Lesson Packages are valid for six (6) months. The expiry date can be found on the Package page. All lessons should be completed before the expiration date.
- At least ONE lesson’s date and time should be selected when scheduling a package.
- Lesson length cannot be changed after the package is scheduled successfully.
- Receive a 15% discount when purchasing a package of 10 lessons.
- Easily manage your lessons on the “My Bookings” page, with the option to reschedule or cancel lessons up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
Once you enter the front-end panel on the booking page you will be able to see the purchased packages on the top and the list of the booked appointments below. Each package will have info about the expiration date and the number of appointments left for booking.
Click on the arrow on the right side of the package and more information about that specific package will show with the option to book the rest of the appointments.
Included:
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to existing website pages and functionalities
- Assistance with existing plugins and theme updates
Not Included:
- Adding new features or pages to the website

Based on the student `s level, Normally I will leave three (3) type of homework to students who want to study Chinese systematically.
1.homework from the workbooks or textbooks. if you are HSK1-2 level, you can just finish the homework directly on the actual workbook, we will discuss them together during class, cause the format will mostly be multiple – choice ; if you are HSK3+ level , after you finish the homework , take a picture and send it to me on Skype like the picture below! So I can check your writing as well!
2.homework from the vocabulary list, for HSK1-4 students. one of the homework I will leave for them is to use those vocabulary in the following picture to make a sentence.
You can write the sentences on a paper, after you finish, take a picture, and send it to me on Skype like the following picture!
3.homework for HSK 4+/advanced students. The type of homework I will leave for you is to write something based on a specific topic, There are no requirements for length or style. you can write the article directly in our Google docs like the picture followed, we will discuss and modify it together during the class!
Class Request Policy
Students can request the group class and bring 1-3 friends to the class who want to study Chinese as well. Class requests will be accepted automatically.
The maximum number of students per class is 2 or 4 students depending on the Class setting.
Class Cancellation Policy
Students can cancel the class up to 24 hours before the start of the class.
In-Class Policy
Group Classes are taught via Zoom, and the Zoom meeting ID and password information will be provided before the class time.
Make sure to attend the class on time, there is no cancellation/reschedule/refund if students are late for the class. However, students are able to enter an ongoing class after the start time.
The class length is based on the Class Settings, regardless of whether you interact with the teacher or other students during class time.
Inappropriate behaviors are unacceptable and may result in students being warned or removed from class. Inappropriate behaviors include but are not limited to: harassment; sexual/racial/religious discrimination and any other behaviors that negatively influence the group class experience.
Teachers have the right to remove students from class if they misbehave. Once removed students are not allowed to enter the Group Class again.
Students may turn off their cameras if they choose.
Credit Refund Policy
Students can cancel the class request up to 24 hours before the start of class.
Students are not allowed to cancel the class within 24 hours of the class start time.
Students will not get a credit refund if they have been warned or removed from class for inappropriate behaviors.
Students have 24 hours to request a credit refund before the Group Class is automatically marked as “completed”.
After Class Policy
Group Classes will be automatically confirmed to a completion status 24 hours after the class ends.
Addition
Leo reserves the sole right to assess, resolve, and make decisions regarding the above-mentioned rule violations as well as other disputes.
A Lesson Request needs to be sent and accepted to successfully book a lesson
A student can send a lesson request to book a lesson 12 hours in advance .
You will need a device with a camera. It is strongly recommended that you prepare a set of headphones and a microphone for an excellent class experience.
Software / Communication Tools such as Zoom, Skype , or WeChat, are provided by teachers depending on which ones they use.
- If your lesson request is canceled by you, declined by the teacher, or expires (not confirmed by the Teacher in time), you will receive a 100% refund within 24 hours to whatever payment method (credit card, bank account) that you initially used to make the payment.
- If your lesson is canceled 24 hours prior to the lesson time, you will receive a 100% refund within 24 hours to whatever payment method (credit card, bank account) that you initially used to make the payment.
Note:
- ! All lessons should be rescheduled before 24 hours.
- ! For some reason, you miss the lesson or didn’t show up until the lesson has begun 10 minutes, the lesson will be considered taken, and no make-up lesson will be offered.

Students can participate the event as long as it `s available or until the event reaches the maximum number of students. Event requests will be accepted automatically, the event will show in the upcoming event list once booked
Once full, no additional students can request this event, no matter how long it is before the event starts.
